Political Power

Everyone tends to have a negative preconceived notion that politics are bad. However, we neglect to use our own individual political power to counteract those bad guys. We have the ability to vote with our dollars. That is such a strong power that it isn’t used enough. What are your values? Do you implement them with everything that you buy?

ETHICALLY EXPOSED

Most people don’t, because this idea of power is not common to us, because we are not educated on it. But honestly, it’s simple. If you don’t buy it, you don’t support it. If a company supports malpractices that you do not, if you purchase a product from them, you DO in fact support those same practices.

Everything is political whether you believe it or not. All businesses are, restaurants, clothing stores, etc. They also all have to abide by one thing, the law. BUT, they also have their own political power individually to go about obeying the laws, while still standing up for what they believe in. They can create an active community among individuals for a specific cause that they value. There is no harm in standing up for what you believe in, especially if it’s at no cost to you!

You can live in Asia, and support an Anti-Animal Cruelty Law in the USA. You can help fund the campaign for it, or, you can simply, only support cruelty-free companies.

This is a political action that dictates the demands of consumer wants. It is a simple routine change that makes a huge impact.

It’s really so cool that we all have political power. This is something that can be so huge if used correctly, and efficiently. If you are someone who loves nature and you want to preserve all national parks in the USA, you have the power to do that. Simply by what you do. HOW you live your life and how conscious you are. Things that we do routinely have a massive effect on causes we typically do not know. It’s honestly, really crazy, but again, so impressive to leverage, take and own your power.

People think that the Government is a lot more powerful than them, however, if you really think about it. How many consumers are there versus in-office politicians? If we all collectively put our money where our mouth is, we can turn things around very fast.

Tell me your cause, or something that really

gets to you. Maybe it’s world hunger, maybe it is the ethical standards in fashion, maybe it’s taxation, or perhaps it’s healthcare. Whatever it is, you must remember that you CAN do something about it. Only support organizations with your values and morals, it’s not hard. You will be amazed at the outcome and the strength you innately gain.

Politics are everywhere, don’t persuade yourself to shy the other way. Use your own political power. You may meet people of similar interests that introduce you to more like-minded people who will help you create an even bigger impact. Be THAT change.
