Scents

Do you like your home to smell like cookies, or roses? Do you love candles, but worry about leaving them on too long? Well, for those of you who like your home to smell good, but not too strong with whatever scent it is, PURA is the perfect product for you!

We all know of the generic household names, like FeBreeze, Lysol, etc. But they are mainstream brands that aren’t always the best smelling, nor are they cruelty free.

ETHICALLY EXPOSED

I love candles, but when I’m not home, of course, I don’t like to leave them on. With PURA it is so convenient because it is connected to your phone, and whenever you are in your WiFi range, you are able to turn it on and off at your leisure.

A big thing for me, of course is the cruelty free aspect, along with finding a scent that I really like. A lot of the time, the natural and organic scents, tend to have a very floral scent to them or never seem to achieve the warm sugar and vanilla smell that I crave. But, PURA has it all figured out, and even better, it is just one purchase, with refills!

They last a long time, especially because the smell lingers for a little after it is finished, if you don’t leave the windows open. Lol.

Diving into the cruelty free aspect of this product, in case you were

wondering on how and why they would test such a product on animals, I will explain.

When we inhale anything, especially something that is manmade/synthetic, it is very prevalent that we figure out the negatives associated with the product, because if it contains chemicals, it could affect us poorly. Typical tests for things such as aerosols, and scented products, are given to animals who are forced to inhale the substances to declare the toxicity level for us, humans.

Can you imagine, being forced to inhale and unknown substance, with unknown effects, and dying either minutes, hours, or just days after?

We have the ability to give consent with situations, and we take away the rights of animals’.

It is important to

challenge what we buy and ask ourselves how it effected others in the production phase. You may ask, “What’s in that for me? Why should I worry about others?” That comes down to your morals and ethics. If you simply do not care about how your purchasing habits effect others, but you have opinions about topics that involve animals, or claim to love them, then you my friend, are simply a hypocrite.

It all comes down to putting your money where your values lie. It isn’t difficult, in fact, it has been a lot easier in the recent years with finding products like PURA, in every industry.

So, the next time you buy something, weigh your options and effects as well.

Thank you! 🙂
